I bought one for my daughter and she loves it so she can watch her brother play and she loves to see things and it makes it easier for her brother to interact with her.

Well you sound very young to be a mother because your parenting skills sound poor. But anyways, I bought 2 Bumbo seats for my twin boys and they worked out great. Why do we buy them?……..why do you buy the things you do? That is a silly question.

I’m 30 weeks pregnant and we just got a Bumbo chair as a Christmas gift from my boyfriend’s sister-in-law. She used it for her baby and said she loved it. I’d never even heard of one until we got it as a gift. It looks pretty cool. I’m excited to use it for my baby. Then again, I’m just excited to MEET my baby!

But I say, don’t knock someone else’s methods. If it works for certain moms, then more power to them. You got your baby walking at 8 months and that’s phenomenal but everyone does things differently with their babies. You can’t expect everyone to raise their kids the same way you did. That’s what makes this country great… diversity and variety.

I never bought one, I personally think there are way too many baby "gadgets" out there. If I wanted to help him sit up, I used the boppy pillow, that came in handy for multiple things!
